An XCRI Web Service for the Open University
Introduction
This page provides information about the getOUCourses web service. It is intended to give a brief overview of the service including the functionality it provides and how it can be used.
Overview
The web service provides Open University course advertising data in XCRI-CAP 1.1 format. The anticipated consumers of this data are Lifelong Learning Networks, other third party aggregators and any other ad hoc enquirers for Open University course data.
The service call accepts a single parameter specifying UG (Under Grad), PG (Post Grad) or ALL. It will respond by returning a whole data set of Undergraduate, Postgraduate or All Open University opportunities.

The service is maintained and hosted on the XCRI eXchange Platform (XXP) on behalf of the Open University.
